This mural size painting depicts the infamous Battle of Waxhaw where Barrister Tarleton's Legion massacred the surrendered Colonial forces thinking their commander had been shot off his horse. Tarleton's quarter, a battle cry of the southern colonial rebellion against the British during the American war of Independence, means show no mercy.

Historical Seccessionsville Manor, Charleston, SC. During the American Civil War the manor was General Beauregard headquarters during the Battle of Seccessionsville. The soldiers drew graffiti on the walls including a field battle map. The current owners have restored and preserved these time capsules and made the house more beautiful than it ever was. The mural depicts a view of the Cheewah-Combahee plantation in Wiggins, SC.

Commissioned by Mr. Roger Milliken for his Milliken Information Center, The mural consists of sixteen six by ten foot stretched panels depicting the White Ibis and another fourteen species of birds and animals that roost in the Boykin Millpond. The millpond is South Carolina's largest inland roost of White Ibis.

Claude Buckley- The Battle of Camden

Rotunda of the Robert Mills Courthouse, Camden, SC.
Robert Mills is the first truly American architect and the designer of the Washington Monument, the US Treasury and many courthouses and public buildings.
This mural was commissioned by the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the infamous Battle of Camden.
One side of this mural depicts a charge of the dreaded British Legion. The other side shows Baron DeKalb leading a foolish and heroic charge to his death during The Battle of Camden. The flags are those that flew over the battle field.
